Dream interpretation

This is a dream journal. The intention behind it is to also give interpretations on the recorded dreams. In my experience, much of the dream content is prophetic and can be linked to events following the night of dreaming.
Throughout the year 2013 I will keep to the discipline of recording my dreams every morning and interpreting them every evening. That way, people may start to get a feel of how dream symbolism works.

The Changing Bookstore

1. Untidy Shop

In the shop.
Digr is at the till. Brva and Keva are also working, but they are kind of doing their own thing and don't seem very interested in tending to customers, if there were any.
I arrive at work, since I start later, at noon, according to the dream. Or maybe I start even later, in the evening.
When I arrive at the counter, I immediately see that Digr is in need of help. None of the other colleagues are about. What needs to be done is cleaning up. I see lots of cardboard boxes everywhere. Some already torn to smaller pieces, but still lying about rather untidy.
There are also the white plastic bands to bind boxes with lying about. There are a lot, but they should be binned. So I start with that rightaway. Obviously he has no time to do all at the same time. As a matter of fact I am planned to do something else at the moment, but I make it my priority.
This is because at that moment Digr needs to help out on the first floor. It looks like he's on his own, while that is not true. The others are just not helping. When he sees I'm helping, then he is okay with me altering the planning.
Later in the shop, everything looks very different, as if a very different place. Bigger, darker, but cosy, more wood. Closed. Long and narrow. More levels, but overlapping.
A customer comes to me and asks me about a book. At that moment, both Keva and Brva are here. The customer asks about a book called Canon (Kanon) and it is a children's book. I know it. The other two colleagues crowd about, but look silly, I quickly say I know it and go with the customer to the right section. Someone else has asked the same question, I remember, last week or so. (The book does not exist in real life, but reminds me of a book about cars).
The customer has also been to our other shop, but they did not have it and sent him here.
I show him the book, but it is not the right one, he wants big one, and he starts to explain what it looks like. I don't know if we have it but I take a look and wander through the section. Then I see it. Big, white. The title is a MA book. The small edition is white (like the car book).
Maybe I have other books for him, or the one he is looking for in particular, because maybe it wasn't the right one. So we go upstairs, where the other MA books are. So we go back, but this time we and in another section of the shop. A dead end, and I see the next floor above me, there is no stairs, no ladder, nothing. Only shelves actually, no room for standing and no way to get there. Weird corner.
So I take a chairlike object and stand on it, you can't reach this part of the shop at all. But I get there.
In the shop here and there there are also tables with drinks. Someone even serves the people. She comes around with a plate.
She comes from an end of the shop that I haven't seen before. There is more light there, big windows that look out to a playground of a school probably. This is the back end of the shop. There is a room on the right where the kitchen is, I've never been there.
Two people take drinks about. They put everything on their plate, which is getting rather full, to take the orders to the customers.
Later in the dream I also see my radishes and cucumber lying on the window sill, inside, on the heater actually. This is by the window. One of the girls has put it there. And when I give a remark about it and want to take it away, because I don't think that is the right place, then she starts to get angry, because she thinks that is the right place and she thinks I'll put them somewhere they don't belong, but that is not true, because she guesses wrong. The person reminds me of Miwi.
Later in the dream I also go outside, where the playground is and now I see the full scope of the shop. This is not a school but one big shop. Now that it is so big it looks distant and cold, but it is big, different shops and sections. Different floors. The whole building is one secret bookstore. Too big for me, I don't like it.

  1. Residue.
Dream 1. Radishes obviously, because I bought them yesterday, but I did not have cucumber.

    Interpretation.
Dream 1. The untidy counter and the boss not having time is something I am struggling with in the shop when I begin. I had this today, when List was working too, then we fight for the computer.
