Shall I Jump

1. Handcuffed Burglars

Maybe the house of H&B, former neighbours. This is the last part of the middle of a dream. We are looking out of the window. A few people there, friends. Rume is certainly there. We walk from one room to the other, big rooms. From kitchen, which is more private, to living room, which is more public. Evening or night. Light. Second floor or some upper floor.

Rume and I walk to that other room. We have to or there is pressure. Three men with guns are in the house, thieves. They have no good intentions. We better be good. But I am armed, or armed myself and maybe told Rume to arm himself too. I've got a knife in my right hand. It seems Rume is not happy about carrying arms. I've got a second weapon in my left hand, and these should be chains, or handcuffs. And I hold them in such a way that I can move them unseen if I stand in front of a bad man in a certain way, with a twist of my hand, that the person is fettered. I hope it works, but I'm full of ideals. When the time comes, the three men are there, I am holding a potato peeler in my left hand. I think, this is odd, can't do much with that. But I'll make the best of it, who knows.

I never get near enough to do any damage. All is very calm as well, and no conflict arises. It is an uncomfortable situation though. No one gets hurt, but nothing in the situation changes either.

Later in the dream, Rume and I sit down on the sofa. He is on my left. I tell him about the Thai maffia. That is who they must have been. We talk. He likes to talk conspiracy talk and that he does. He mentions the Chinese maffia, they are called shinjin or something like that. I follow him, but that is not who I meant, so I try to get back to topic and focus.

2. Half Throttle Space Ship

In another dream, we are abducted by an alien spaceship. We got in when it was landed and stood still not realizing that this is a spaceship. Now it will leave the ground. It is black and big and in the shape of a pentagon, more or less. It looks new and clean on the outside. We watch the city from the inside, I remember the view from a dream I had years ago.

While we stand there, I think with Rume, we talk about the maffia again. I mention the Thai maffia. I hear the people around me, they are this maffia, they got us on board, but I don't think they intended so. They're not from here but they look human, don't feel very different. They are actually the union. The link is made between the union and the maffia. They have something to fight for, something they have to do, that is why they leave. They go to the place where whatever it is they need to do they will do. We have nothing to do with that.

The craft only has half of the union population, or alien population, on board, and that results in a very slow take off and slow progress. We have to move quite close over ground. We fly only a few meters above the street, cars drive by, we pass them, they can see us. The craft can't hide, because it hasn't got enough energy. It would have when all were on board. Street, we follow it, on the left is a canal.

3. Leg Bite

Late at night, we are outside, returning from a party. After 12pm. I think my friend Rume is with me. He is rather reckless, maybe drank too much. We walk beside the canal, follow the street.

We pass a shop or something, which is supposed to be closed, but something clandestine is going on there. We are invited in. There's only men in the shop. Two guys lead the thing, the other men are all stunned, drugged or otherwise incapable of being conscious. I don't want to go in. Of course, Rume readily goes in, so I follow. They immediately have Rume in their power, I remain poised and wait.

They do something with you. At first they present foods, snacks, all hot, very nice, I don't eat it. Rume does. But before, he was dozed already, and got a thing on his upper leg which they all got. And it looks like a whole with teeth, as if they put teeth in it. And he takes a scampi to eat, and the next one he gives to his leg, and the two guys think that is a wonderful idea and want to launch the trend among the rest of them. I had a scampi, it was good.

This is a clothing shop, and we went in to buy a pair of trousers.

4. Attempt to Jump in the Water

Maybe the same dream, already mixed with superficial thinking.

We are at the canal, or water, or I see two people go there. They stop by a certain point where you can get in the water. It was their intention all along to jump in, but now they are there they hesitate. The guy just does not want to jump in, the girl entices him, but he really does not want to.

The whole scene looks like an old photograph, yellowish. The scene looks from that time, the people too, as if morals where different then. They are college students, who first met each other or only a short time ago.

Then the boy decides to jump in anyway, but he hits something hard not deep under the surface. He knew he would hurt himself, and it happened. She never gets in.

But in the end they're still together.
