Shopping for a Shirt

1. Coffee Tray

I'm in the shop, behind the till, two other colleagues here too, they know something I don't. They are on my right. The shop is different than in reality, but I've seen this version in other dreams. Open shop, large space, light, one floor. Orientation is different, but the placing of door and till are the same if you think about it.

On they right they have a tray of food. An oven tray. Maybe something like spaghetti, I can't remember. They have some. I'm curious but don't get involved. There is also coffee, I certainly don't want that.

(From notes) Together with a girl. She is there, or in a sense.

2. Tailor Made

Same dream. On the top of a hill. Lonely height. Lonely mountain, afterwards in waking Erebor comes to mind, but it is not really a mountain. Lush, grass, light, sunny. Exclusive area actually, but here are shops and we need to do shopping. I'm looking for a shirt, a good one, to wear at the wedding. The rest of the family is here, looking for clothes, I wander off. They are measuring cloth.

Outside I stroll to the right, into the next shop, which is smaller, more exclusive with two employees, neat, ready to help me. High ceiling. Light. Also clothes, but I only see ties and something else I can't remember, either shirts or trousers. Not the thing I was looking for. Anyway, I enter and they want to help. I am not going to buy anything here. They have so little because all is sold already. The ties are very modern and to my liking, though light colours, mostly white, with dark streaks, but arty.

When I go back to the first shop, they are still busy. Most is done already. Now I see Bale at the table with a yellow dark green thick piece of cloth, and she is cutting it. I knew she would like to do that herself. She follows the lines on the cloth and cuts neatly. It is difficult, because the piece is that big. The lady of the shop looks on. I think I could help Bale, so I hold the cloth tight in places, only a little help.

3. Floor Tiles

Same dream. Something with herbs (Can't read). Finally together? Tiles? The floor tiles come to mind. Family. Mine? Can't remember. 

4. Jia Pfirsich

By the end of these dreams thoughts were mixed into it. I was thinking about Zhuangzi. And especially also about Chia Mantak, realizing that if the ch is the same as in taichi, then maybe his name is Jia. This is a dream about learning Chinese, book, maybe Geli in the background. Also German words in the dream, such as Pfirsich.

5. Blond Girls

Green. Somewhere in the dream there is the colour green, something is green, very noticable.

I'm in a city, evening, still light. I'm either on the bus or I try to avoid the bus. At some point in the dream I may be cycling and trying to avoid two buses behind me to drive me off the road. City with sloping streets. I'm living in this city, was supposed to meet people, I know people here. I was home first, then out, then meet them again.

By the end of the dream it is 10.30pm and it's late, I am heading home. Now I go straight home, downwards, pedestrian walk. I recognize the squares when I get to them, so I'm sure I know where I am. Two squares, one small, one large. Maybe the same as Hooverplein and Ladeuze in Leuven. Lots of people still about. Buzz. Lots of noise. Too much for me to be able to catch sleep, I already know, but I need my sleep anyway.

Somewhere in the dream a few blond girls feature. It strikes me that they are all blond. I'm with a girl. She has long curly blond hair. I've known her since a week now, but haven't gone to bed with her in the whole though I might have seen her every day, because I just don't have the time. In the dream, before that girl I had another, which I liked maybe more, and who was also blond, she is in the dream too. Another blond girl is there who is the girl friend of someone else, maybe of a friend or of my brother?

At some point in the dream (I don't remember the chronology), I'm in my apartment, window looking out, not the side of the street, back window, apartment on an upper floor. Oriented differently than in reality, also more space. Different furniture. We sit at the table in the living room, on the floor. We play a game, possibly cards. We play a long time, it gets late. Maybe we also eat cheese.
