Dream interpretation

This is a dream journal. The intention behind it is to also give interpretations on the recorded dreams. In my experience, much of the dream content is prophetic and can be linked to events following the night of dreaming.
Throughout the year 2013 I will keep to the discipline of recording my dreams every morning and interpreting them every evening. That way, people may start to get a feel of how dream symbolism works.

Returning

1. Mathematical Dancing

The first part where I join anyway has to do with dancing. Pillars in the room and I am at one to lean back, a girl is dancing, but others soon follow and some sort of class is started. Everyone who joins has to wear a special pullover or t-shirt, mostly white. Even when I'm still not joining I wear that t-shirt at some point and I feel naked, but maybe I am not wearing pants anymore.
They do some position of taiji, but still I am not inclined to join. We were a group of five coming in, among which a brother and a sister. They both have the same eyes, and I look at the sister two times to see those eyes, because they are really special, and she is really beautiful, long brown hair, tall, strong personality but of few words, as her brother. I watch her, don't know her, don't know what she will think if I watch her, so I keep my eyes off. She goes to the dancing floor which is behind the pillars, after a certain while. I am sure this is the reason why she came.
Once the people dance in group, she is always in the front and leading, but a man is teaching. They are practicing some choreography. They dance the width of the hall and go to a certain direction indirectly, and in the middle of the end wall, there is according to the story of the dance a cash machine.
I'm not sure anymore whether I joined or not, but afterwards I give some comment towards the teacher, because I think the dancing practice they way he teaches is rather mathematical. And he says that it is not, it cannot be and he says it cannot be the other extreme either, but I don't remember the word he used for that, spontaneity perhaps. So he means to balance each aspect, but I only saw the one.


2. Eating Out

Inside, Frre is there, eating. Then coming back from there. This must be some kind of restaurant and we were supposed to eat here with all the colleagues.
The room of the restaurant is light, big, we are on the right side. Behind me are the kitchens. Our table has some few seats free, someone sits on my right, but no one on my left, and maybe three people sit in front of me. Opposite me is a blond guy, maybe my age or a little older, who I don't know. I sometimes am familiar and take things from his plate and eat it, but by the time I am finishing mine, he does the same and I am a little shocked, while the others at the table think that is a good joke.
When we finish and leave the place we pass through the hallway, but there are a few tables too, maybe three, each behind the other, and on that table sit some of the other colleagues, those of Diestse, among which Inro. Atmosphere here is warm and cosy, soft red light, wood, not too bright. That is about where the dream ends, because even if we now know they are here and still here, we decided to go and we can't come back on that decision.


3.  Giant Spider

Walk outside, we come to a piece of wood, have to climb a little first, the trees are rather chaotic or disorderly, only a small piece of wood, Anle and Svdb are here.
We pass through the wood and come to the backside of some rural gardens. Bale is also here. And when we've walked some way, possibly to where civilization begins, we turn back, and I had seen on the way here some herbs, so when we pass again, I say, look there is mugwort, and tansy. I saw tansy first, many of them, and I point it out to Bale.
A little behind those gardens starts a piece of wood again, old branches, forest floor, trees here and there, shade. In response to what I said Bale points to a tree that has fallen a long time ago, but not such a big tree, and maybe walnut, and she says: there, vogellijm. This is mistletoe. That would be a sight so I go over there and she goes too, but I can't see it. It is difficult to see, because the tree has fallen, but big evergreen leathery leaves still cling to the tree, so I don't see it. Meanwhile I answer her: Had I known that, is of the (can't read notes).
But when we approach the bush we both spot a big spider on the tree. I recognize is as a normal spider, only it is unusually big, its head is as big as a man's chest, and with the legs the spider looks even bigger. Some red and ruddy colours, otherwise dark, maybe greys and black, legs are certainly black, and very thing, skinny. Is first reaction is to hide, and it crawls over the tree trunk a little to reposition away from us, but is still there. We don't move. This is a frightening sight. And we are careful. The spider moves again, but it stays there, we don't come any closer. That is the end of this fragment.

4. Missed a Turn

I'm in Herent, returning from somewhere, driving a car or maybe even a bus, but if I do it is empty, because I am returning. And when the dream starts I am in the centre already and I can't orient myself immediately, but I am looking for the right street to turn which must be here somewhere, but when I get my bearing, and the surroundings become very clear I see that I have just passed the street where I should have gone left. I had seen the street and recognized it, but because I did not know exactly where I was I kept driving and only realized when I recognized the rest of my surroundings.
In retrospect I must have come from the Oudstrijdersstraat toward the street of my parents.
Now I continue, and I think I will go directly to my parents. Then I pass the supermarket which is almost at the end of the street in which I am now and is on my left, and I slow down, and a car leaves the place, and because of that I see that the entry towards the parking lot is broken up, but people are on the terrain and I go in, and when I do I am thinking that I might as well use the space here to turn back and then I can still go back and find the right way, I have not wandered too far yet.
But when I drive on to the parking lot I see two cars parked and people standing beside those and I know them, they are Anle and Svdb with their young children, and A&D. They are ready to pack and leave for a vacation, that you can see. And I think, I'm sure they see me, so I can't just pass them like that and have to say hello, so I stop, but they had not seen me yet, so I am taking the initiative, and I say hello, even if they have not much time. And it is clear that they are packing to leave for holiday together. I think that is nice and would have gone with them, but I am not invited and I have other business too.
Can't remember what happened next. Maybe I talked to Svdb. I must have talked to him and Anle.
This happened too, by the end. Many other people gathered there. Svdb was at the front of the car, which is a big car with lots of space, station wagon, and dark colour, maybe black. And all of us, Anle and the bystanders are behind, and the back door is open for all the luggage, but now Svdb says he will close it, which he does from the front of the car, but people are standing underneath the rear hatch. And I see how it comes down slowly, but no one has heard Svdb's warning, and the hatch bumps slightly against the top of the head of the tallest person, who is a man, and might be one of Anle's students. Even now people don't really move, and the hatch goes down a little further and the same happens, and I'm not sure what happens next, but I think Anle was not happy with the way Svdb did things, and I am trying to help people. Maybe here the dream ended.

5. Midnight Wedding

First inside, house of parents, they are making ready, and are waiting, maybe because the ordered lunch or something, but I stay in the living room, out of their way and keeping myself busy. They are either in the kitchen or in the bathroom, and running to and fro. At some point, because the waiting is long, I go to my room and get my small laptop, notebook, out and intend to do some work in the meanwhile.
One everyone is there we leave.
Next scene. Central square in Herent, which does not really exist, possibly Mechelsesteenweg, middle of the night. I am there with my parents and we are waiting for D and N. We are preparing for the wedding. I should have come with D and N, but because of circumstances I could not. And they have a lot of fun, and even now we have to wait for them, but we can check in into the hotel already. I was not aware this had to be done, but everyone else of the family seems to have done it. I am not worried about it.
We are now in the middle of the night, though there is light. In the meantime I realize that I am the only one who has not booked a room. The hotel itself is on the left, and the reception is a small place, and I am inside, but the moment I decide I would register myself, something happens and I don't, maybe because my brothers arrived. And we all go outside. D&S are there and N is merry. 
In fact I did not have the time to book a room. Almost toward the end, when we all decide to leave to go to the place where the party is, I go into the other building, which is on the right and more toward the square, and ask them if they still have a room available. They check but say that all is booked, and I say: no worries, I will find some place anyway. And I am not worried at all, and when I would not find anything I can still go to my parents' place. The doors of both places are open all the time.
There is loud music, family, D&S.


6. Boring Story as Introduction to Someone's Initiation

Maybe the same dream as dream 3. Later.
Inside, other people, listening to a story, the first half is very boring and takes too long, but it is needed to explain the second part, so I readily associate it with initiation. The story is about the family Duck, in particular about Kwekkelien (Gosalyn), the young female duck. Light, closed, seats arranged as for a talk, other room behind us. Small rooms.
This is not meant for me, but I am undergoing it willingly anyway. Something something for someone else. Later the same thing is repeated all over again, but this time without me.

Cell Time

1. Lane

Outside, long lane.

2. Sex with a Colleague

Dark, inside, Tama, and other colleagues. Tama has a sister, some family business, she is much younger than Tama.
Brva is also there. At some point, in another room, waiting, we are shut closed with a few people, square brick building like a prison. I have an erection, I see Brva in the corner and think I could as well have sex with her. Other people in the cell have sex with each other. But I want to do it in a particular way, standing, so that it is less difficult for me and so I ask her to turn around so I can take her from the back. I touch her between her legs and she is wet, which means to me that she is willing. And she does not say no all the time, which surprises me a little, but I continue. Because she is wet I am confident. She supports herself against the wall of the cell, I want to enter, she wears some yellow clothing, my dick becomes a little soft, I go in anyway, but before I am entered well I come. (Wet Dream).
The dream continues back in more public places inside, as if a shop, but is still dark, colleagues there. Can't remember what happened.
At some other point I come again, but I can't remember why.

3. Translating in Greek

Inside, classroom, light, Digr and Brva. Digr wants us to translate texts, first he starts with the Latin one, which he gives to Brva, and then the Greek one, which he gives to me, but I can't make anything of it. The text is printed blue and dark pink on white and in Dutch, and the Greek text is transcribed in the Latin alphabet. I read it and the first two words I encounter I can't already translate from Dutch to Greek and I know it is hopeless. The sentence starts with "He smiles". I don't know what smiling in Greek is.

4. Dutch Customers
(Hypnagogic dream)

Outside, next to the shop, I arrive, two customers are there, I know them from a year ago, difficult ones. From Holland, one can't decide, the other buys more than she needs, also inside in the shop itself. She buys stuff for children, also in the street she wants a picture to be taken. Can't remember perfectly.

Black Train

1. Dog Lion

Some end of a hall, this part is a little higher, but away of the people, and no chairs or tables. A girl is waiting here, she is with us, N also in the neighbourhood. I am waiting too, but I use the time to practice my taiji sword, without sword. But I have the luminous idea to practice with my sweater, the light grey one, and I swing it about this way and that. I move fast because the sweater is not solid like the sword, so I keep moving fast so that it is always moving. I slightly try to impress the girl, who is on my right, and watches me sometimes. I am mainly doing the Falling Flowers Posture, which is the best one you can do with the sweater.
Maybe in this dream too, or in a later dream. In the corner is a dog, and its lady boss too, the dog sits or lies but makes it very clear to me that he wants me to come so I go and kneel and stroke the dog. The boss encourages me, so I stroke the dog, looking for the right place on its head and neck, I feel the bristles. Very different from a cat's head. This is a big dog, like a Shepherd. Light brown, yellow ochre colour. I have some trouble finding the right spot, but the dog is patient, and when it is okay, the dog really enjoys it.
At that point the dog lays its paw on my arm, leg or body somewhere, just nearby, and I see it is a lion. The dog has changed into a lion, and it is a little more dangerous now, but I have to persist and be confident, this is a mighty feeling.

2. Invading the Sports Complex

Eating somewhere in a public place, but after that we go to a second place, night. Cafe. N wants to go there for a specific reason, but when we get there it is no longer there.
In between we are waiting on the parking lot, it is late.
When we enter the second establishment, it looks like a combination of a Chinese restaurant and the Fnac, stairs to go in, stone. Then restaurant which I thought would be a pub, has two sections, front and back, but we immediately go to the front, we are a handful of people, N is leading. I think the tables here are too well dressed, this is too posh, I am not prepared for this and feel uncomfortable. I like casual.


When we leave the restaurant we split up, I have to follow a very specific route, but it is already late. One lady who was with us goes ahead, and then follows a part of dream in which I am not present but I see what happens with the lady. She walks beside a cliff on the right and on the left is a small river or brook with very clear water, and she skims the river with her blown up yellow orange boat. But then I see the life boat going alone with her with the current, and she has stepped out of it, and this means she loses her means of transport and she will be late, but apparently she found something worthwhile on the side. Something caught her attention, maybe flowers, and she takes her time.
Because I fear for her and her boat, this is where I come in the scene, as if I am teleported there, and someone else comes with me, also a woman. We follow her along the the path, a little further on the right is a sports complex. We want to go there, that is the two women want to, but I don't because it is private and it is late and we are surely not allowed to go there. Now this is in the country side, and the path is fully on the land, trees like a lane, then on our right is still a height, but it is a field, with nothing on it, just earth. And then the parking lot, the front of the building, the complex itself, and behind that visible to us is also a cafe connected to the complex. There is still light and people about. All those people know each other, we would stand out.
The two women know as well as I do that we can't have anyone see us, but the two of them are jogging towards the complex, thinking that if they jog, they look like people who belong here. N is also here now and he knows the way. There are different ways to approach the complex, public and secret.
Of course, soon enough the people see us, and they try to stop us. I can't remember what the reason was why these two ladies wanted to go in so badly. (Here I can't read my notes). 
Something something, and the authorities of the place come, maybe one or two persons, and they want us to explain. I comply and go behind the building, rather calm and knowing that things will now turn out the right way. I can't remember how the two ladies reacted, anyway, behind the building was the pub and I sit there and wait and there are other people there. And about there does the dream stop.

3. Cast Iron Train

We are on the train. My brother N is there. We sit next to each other, he on my left, and a third person is on his left, and this person we know, or I know him, although it is a coincidence that he is here. Someone called Robin, although sometimes the name Johan comes to mind. Someone of my schooltime?
Later we enter a second train, which is a little unusual, but the same thing happens. My brother and I sit next to each other, and there happens to be a third person, sitting on the left of my brother, and I know him too, this is purely accidental. This person is called Hans. And N might sometimes be Bale.


The beginning of the dream is in someone's living room, some workshop or other. It is late, like at a wedding (?). Stco is also there, and my parents.
This is something that has to do with our family, we have to leave. N and me are first of all with the car. Light, horizon type of dream. We take a long turn left, the road curves that is. Another car was in front of us for a moment, you can't see behind the curve, I had not expected this, but this is the only possible way and my brothers knows it.
Then we arrive at the station and hurry to catch our train, N has a ticket.
The station is a very wide place, under roof, we walk a whole end, hurry, then come to the place where we have to choose our path, although the way to the platforms is still far away, but one corridor leads of to the right, this is to platform 6 and 7. 8&9 and the next one are straight through. N walks through, because he is in a hurry. There are people sitting on our left at this place, because there is some kind of cafe. At first I follow my brother because I trust that he knows the way and I don't take initiative, but then I see we will go to far and I stop him and ask him which platform we have to go to, again, because I already knew, and I was paying attention. We have to go to platform 7b, and this is in the neighbourhood of 6, but 6 and 7 are together. All this is not clear in the first instance. The corridors are signposted in yellow and blue, but the yellow stands out. But then I stop my brother and tell him we have to go to the right, and he follows, and it is the right way.
We catch the train, N is tired. I say something about being tired, and he replies that in order to overcome his exhaustion he keeps working or works more, that this is his remedy, and in the short run it works, but I know it does not last, no long term solution.
So this is the first train, and this one goes, underground, to the very end of the tracks, rails. Still underground, and we see the end of the tracks, there is only some kind of platform beyond it. Three different tracks end here, and changes of tracks are possible here too.
When we arrive here we have to look for our second train. And we look for the right track. Then after a while we suddenly see the coal black train, which is only the locomotive and a sort of wagon behind it, the vehicle is solid, and solid black, and to the touch it feels like cast iron, and it is very hard to approach, and it is also massive, which means that you cannot go in it, and we go to the back, which is where the wagon is and sit on a ridge outside. And so we end up with this third person who also sits there.
We climb on the coal train. N takes the initiative. Train arrives, we go to the back to look for seats. There are no doors, no windows. I assume the train is driven by a ghost or by the intelligence of the train or stone or iron itself.
Something about taiji practice.
But about here is where the dream ends.

4. Book on Ancient Mammals

Mefa and Woli and I go to a place, looks like Stuk or Fnac, but avoiding something (I avoid something?), because something something me behind the counter. I suppose I am trying to avoid Woli and Mefa. Of course, Mefa comes my way because he wants to order something, Swaffel beer, five of them, five pints, I don't know what he means, I don't know the brand. He something something help.
Later, something something (can't read notes).
Later among the tables, we look for a table, Mefa found a table, not much room to go between the tables, I am still standing, so is Woli, he turns around and sees Selah Sue, and I already knew she was there, but he says: hey, Selah Sue, to point our attention to it. I ignore him. She is behind me.
I eat something, and get from Mefa a book about prehistoric animals. In the book something something rhinoceros. He eats something something, later, something something, I first something something. And something (can't read notes).

Staying in a Hostel

1. Crowded Badminton Training Hall

Badminton. I look a bit lost, don't know when or where or with whom to play. Others I know are here and are a bit more organized, but have to wait nonetheless. The courts are all taken. Crowded. This is the usual training hall, but the courts are lined up in a different way.

2. Two Radios Playing

I go to my bedroom. I am the last person awake and the last one to go to bed. All the others in the house, friends and family, have already gone to bed. This is some kind of hostel, all ground floor.
Before that I was somewhere else but I can't remember what happened there. Then when I find my bedroom, because of this I was not sure either, I see light coming from behind the door, which is closed, and that makes me hesitate, because I'm not sure it is my room. So if light is burning then maybe someone is in the room, but I have no other place, so I go in. It appears I let the lights on, or this is automatically so, because that is not all, but also the radio plays. My bed is on the left, and a radio next to it, but another radio is there, too, and when I turn off the first radio, the second starts to play, so I think this is without my control, and I leave it. Now both radios play.


3. Two Way Lift

I am going to the city, for a healing (?), go down, is faraway, go with the train, rails, very modern, looks like a subway, but overground, almost like the monorail, goes parallel with the street where the cars drive. Long street that connects where I was earlier, possibly the hostel, which is on a height too, connects it with the city.
In the city I find my way, alone, other people are about, there is light, some lucid atmosphere, calm and serene. I come to a pedestrian area and there is some sort of lift, which is open and big, so it is a platform, almost circular, and made of two sections, the floor is. And it is tiled or cobbled just as the street is, but you can still see this is the thing that can take you up. Or down, because it seems that the lift can go both ways at the same time, and this I find a little strange, and one lady who is used to the lift and lives in the neighbourhood, she wants to go down, but all the others want to go up, as well as me, and I am uncertain about the mathematics of it. So I choose the safe side, which is up. That means, I wait till the majority decides to go up and then I join.
When I go back I use the same lift, although in the dream I never see it operate. And I go back with the rails again. But there is also some girl that I have to take with me, she needs to do some sort of research, but has even less a strong will than I and can't move by herself, something like that. Can't remember well.

4. Japanese Words

Some guy tries to understand Japanese words, he says watashi wa, but in a different way, but I know what he means, only he does not know what he is saying, but I let him do. Other people are around, standing.

Tiles on the Water

1. Animals Wish to Follow

Early dream. Animals, different kinds, no large ones, more like cats and bunnies and weasels, stoat. They follow me. The animals want to go with me. Long street next to a field, difficult, because I cannot allow myself to be seen, this is one of the conditions.
Something with a bed and its pillow, no longer safe or something.

2. Katana Death Sentence

Wide urban square, outside and in the open, with a direction, because everyone is going in the same direction, by the end is a building in the centre, which is more like a obstacle. People are released in this place through a big house or building complex at the beginning, which I can't remember. Terrain. Light.
Two groups are here and they are each others enemy. Everyone is fighting with Japanese swords, real ones.
At a certain point, I am rather disoriented and don't progress any more, I stay where I am, maybe because I am afraid to go to the end because then it is really finished. A few people are with me who support me. And a few of the enemy too, and the encounter must end in a fight, but it is usually man to man, although there are as much women. My brother N is certainly near me. In the meanwhile I see all the normal people pass by, but I stand don't go any further, which is just behind the concrete building in the centre.

 

There is this situation where I have pierced a girl's throat with my katana. She is an experienced fighter, and she is guided and watched over by another lady, too. She is still alive, and I go for it again, and for some reason it must be in a precise place near her throat, on the left side, just under the cheek. She is still alive. But we have to fight, those are the rules. And I think I tell her that, because though she is more dangerous than me, she remains passive. Though I'm not very convinced about challenging her, because she is dangerous. But the lady who supervises her says it is alright, and I should now finish it by stinging that precise place, because it has some meaning, but she gives me now precise instructions, because there is some tradition involved about which I was not aware. She says I have to stab her while I say the mantra. And she does it for me first and says the mantra, and I actually remembered the last part, I knew that, but I did not know so much text was involved and I can't remember it at all. This means she just stabbed the girl as well, with the death sentence. Now it is my turn, my friends are closer now and watch me, and I am under some pressure, because other fights are waiting and I don't have much time, how shall I do it, and I have already my blade upon her neck and it goes in, while I had almost forgotten the mantra, then I say a part of it, which I know, and the blade goes deeper, but the timing with the mantra is off. And also, I stabbed in the wrong place, because I was so in a hurry and I don't have a steady hand.
Then my brother N repeats the same with this girl, and he knows the whole phrase.
I am confused about the whole practices, because this must be lethal to the girl, but she takes it willingly. This means this practice is done because of certain circumstances, which I forgot, but there is more to it. When the supervisor lady sees my confusion, she explains the secret behind it. In those specific circumstances it is obligatory for the enemy to apply their sword to the throat, but if the enemy or whoever it is that is found in the situation, in a fight or war, is a healer, he must also apply something to the throat, and this will secure the person's life, because medicine will be applied via the mouth into the throat. The obligation is to put pressure on the throat. The healer will have to press on the throat once the medicine is taken, on the exact same spot. I understand that in war, this will help people survive.
All this is done to get passed somewhere.

3. Water Path

I go with Tama to my house, house of parents, parents are sleeping, evening nap, so it must be about 7pm, I don't want to disturb them, I don't even want to have them know I'm here, and certainly not that I'm here with Tama. We go to the back side of the house. Light, lucid atmosphere once we're on the back side of the house, garden. Pass the second garage, cross the garden towards the shed.
Behind the shed we go to the field behind the garden, trees will hide us from sight. All that time I fear that they might see me yet. The first thing we encounter is another shed, grey. It is not clear whether this is the one from the garden or a new one in the field. 
Either in this shed or in the first one, we enter, because I have to show Tama something. And this can only be done here. Either she or I am scared of spiders that will be there, or of something else that I can't remember. I think this is the second shed. But when we enter, I am surprised to find the shed clean and tidy, what's more it is almost empty. Very tidy. I had not expected this, because I thought no one would have cared in the meantime to take care.
I wanted to show Tama something here that would have been a help to her, but now in return I ask her help. Since some time I have a small physical problem, some kind of boil, which is on my right bum. I touch it constantly to see what it really is, if it is still there, and whether it can be healed, I am worried. Somehow it is easy to show, although it is my bottom, I pull aside my underwear and raise my leg to show her. It is very thick, and I think it is serious. And now I also see that it looks like a nipple. I had thought so before, but I did not want to admit it, now I cannot ignore it any longer. She says I should have it removed.
Then we go back behind the house, garden, all the way in the back and go to the fields. (So maybe the second shed was somewhere else, maybe in front of the house, we are now gone to the back). Parents are almost awake I know, so we have to hurry and I fear them seeing us. Tama does not know why I am worried.
So I hurry and hurry her and we come to behind the garden shed and see two people fighting.
Anyway, behind that two men are fighting, wrestling, albeit standing and not on the floor. The old man is by far better, and he is the one challenging the young guy. This old man is rather aggressive and I don't want to deal with him, so I am cautious and don't know if it is a good idea to pass, but we have to anyway, Tama comes behind me. Now I see the old man takes on other people too.
I let that old guy do his thing and ignore him. Even when he takes on these two other people, I still stay out of trouble. (Can't read notes). Note says: also ladies.

What's interesting is that those men show us the way, it is clear we are running for something and want cover, and these two people are going to the fields and I was going that way anyway, and they give some directions of how we could go.
The field is like this, there is some crop on the left, like maize, on the right is a hill, which is long, and it has tracks from tractors. Beside it is a path, and between the field of maize and the hill is also a path. The men go to the right but we continue straight through, and they tell us we should go their way, because they think we will go the wrong way if we go straight, we will go to far, but I am thinking that if we take this flat path we are still in sight of the house and my parents could see me, and I know my way a little in these fields, so I continue a little while, Tama follows, and after a few paces there is the possibility to climb the hill, which we do, and I think we are safe there.
When we are on top, we see the two ladies who were also coming this way and they climb the hill from the other side, and we come to the same point on the hill, which assures me I have chosen right. These two ladies are prepared for a walk. They are camping here.
I go in front, Tama comes a while behind, I scout. From the top of the hill, which is yellow in many places, earthen, we descend again, and I see water. This begins halfway the hill and is in a lower part. From here on I follow the ladies, they cross the water which is very clear and seems to run like a calm river or a long lake on the hill. I am pleasantly surprised by this and look forward to follow the girls across the water, even if they are not connected to me. I only hope Tama can follow, because maybe she thinks it is too risky.
There are stones in the water, but in some parts they are actual tiles, and some are just beneath the surface, but it is beautiful and peaceful and I like it very much to go over these and cross the water. A whole path over the water is laid out. There are also trees. We have to look for our way across the water, it is fun.
Then I come to the end of this hill and it borders to where we need to go to be totally safe, which is again normal land, but it means a big jump, and I know I can do it, but Tama is behind me and I don't know if she can. Anyway, I see the ladies do this (I think). And although it is a wide leap, not only far but also deep, to fast earth, I am happy enough to do it without much considering, and the jump down works out fine. We've come so far as the back garden of the family of Dr.

4. Shooting on the Escalator Train

I arrive somewhere, we need to gather, some sort of saloon, living room, was meant to meet up with my brothers, and with Chdm, who is unwilling to do so, but is somehow forced to join.
We sit on the floor. N has something with him, a game or film. Looking for something.
Later, we are asked to get on the train, everyone has. Everyone who is in this place must go on the train, there is no choice. The train is on the side and we all go on it, and there are a few supervisors who guide everything. The train feels very unpersonal, but it also looks like the escalator that would have been on the side, which means that the wagons are all tilted and when I enter I go immediately to the upper side of my carriage. I see that people are rather uncertain about all this, but I feel very confident, even if I don't know what is going to happen. There is another carriage beneath me and one above me, more I cannot see. D&S come with me, same carriage.


Lots of people come from below, and they still change their mind and their carriage. Chinese people enter. A group of tough looking football players, rugby I mean, enter. They are playing black metal music and walk very orderly through the room, which would be the station, to the carriage (stoet). I enjoy the music.
Then someone (maybe D?) is not certain of his place or they are taken out of the carriage, they want to go in the carriage that is one lower. There is a coffee break.
All the doors close, time to leave, D is not going to make it back. All platforms closed.
The train is the stairs, leaves and moves, every level or carriage has its own specific meaning.
After a while, when we are outside and well on our way, there is shooting. I had somehow expected this and don't panic. Other people panic. You can't see who's shooting, but it comes from below us, from the carriage in front of us that is. Everyone on the train is being killed. At first, this is all in the carriages below us and I know they will soon enter ours, they are doing this systematically. Now it is our turn, and the shooting comes from behind the cabin, machine guns. I see three people. A woman in the middle, and two guys on the side, on the left side a young guy, and the right side a grown man. Focus is on the left guy, though I only concern myself with the woman in front, she is the most dangerous, and leading the operation. I look for a place to hide. But it is clear we have to take those three out ourselves or we will not survive, so I approach them. But not straight forward, I go out of the line of shooting of the girl, and come very close. Dark. I recognize her, know her from somewhere. She aims at me, I evade to my left and attack.
I grab her machine gun while she still holds on to it. In the meanwhile I see other people attacking the others too, the man on the right will be overcome soon enough, but the one on my left is still free and shooting.
I twist the gun in her hands so that it aims at her own foot, and I shoot, I shoot her foot and then a little up to where I can reach in this difficult position, her ankle and a part of her leg.
Then the train stops and there is chaos. Other people come and help. The left shooter is still standing. He is too difficult for me, so I will not face him, no good. So I go away, and leave the train as so many others do. Now a lot of people are fleeing the train, and the square in front, on the right, is flooded with people. Some are still fighting, among which a very big guy, short hair, broad shouldered, he is one of us. And he has a gun, it appears that the attackers had machine guns but also short range guns, pistols. And now the fight is with these pistols, many of the passengers have taken these from the attackers and shoot the attackers. 
Someone throws me such a pistol, because I am one of the fighting people now, and I hope I will have no need of it. At that point I still had the machine gun, and I am using that very effectively to hit people, and they go down, I hit rather hard. Those bad guys are all in dark clothing, black.
At some point when I am away from the train, I need the pistol, for very short range. People are shooting in the head of others from point blank, and now I am in such a situation, but the pistol is empty. This is when I was fleeing and one enemy came after me. Now he wants to shoot me, but an armed passenger is behind him and shoots him, he is dead. That was the very last of the attackers.
Then everyone calms down a bit, we gather naturally, almost at the street. One of those big guys who helps holds his hand up and counts with his fingers for everyone to see. Another person is with him, they too seem to be in control of the situation. The counting signifies we are all saved and all is safe.
And then the dream ends, I wake up and I take my notes. Very clear cut ending.

5. German Books in the Kitchen

I'm in my kitchen, and on the kitchen table, when I turn around to the other side, which is closest to the window it becomes also a bookshelf and there are three or four books which I had forgotten I had them, one is a paperback the others hardbacks, they are all in German and all by Pascale Mercier. And I take the paperback and want to read it, because I hadn't thought I still had fiction waiting to be read.
Other people are in the house, but because of something I had to go to the kitchen and found these.

6. Selling Newspapers

There is a hall, and I will join now that I'm here. Now we're in Holland.
And I am incidentally selling newspapers, especially Gazet van Antwerpen and Belang van Limburg, I have a lot of those. There is a Dutch girl who is rather assertive and she wants to buy a paper, BvL, and I think that is unusual.
I meet her again, more informally, and she touches me, she has dark red dark brown hair, is very pretty, has long hair in a pony tail, and is taller than me. Inside.

Into the Painted World

1. Cracked Horn

A man is filming himself. House I am not familiar with. All the time I am holding a small drinking horn, which is filled with some kind of cream, and the horn has cracked and is split. So I have to hold it all the time, otherwise I would spill the content. It is not explained to me why I have to do this, but I know I can't let go. I walk around with his, avoiding the other persons. The house is built in such a way that it feels like a place in between worlds. And some rooms feel different than others. I avoid the rooms that are too close to the normal world, which is on the left, I stay on the right. Brick walls, grey, dark slate.
In some rooms the cream which looks like butter and is therefore solid, sinks, and in others it rises. So I have to regulate this constantly, because when I walk from room to room, I have to adjust the level of the cream again. I don't know how to describe this cream, maybe it also looks like ice cream, but it is room temperature.

2. Claw of Fire

Maybe the same dream.
Then there is something with words, and they are used as codes. Such a code is Claw of Fire, which is in fact Glorifier. There were many puns like that. I can't remember what this is about, but it was mysterious.

3. Haunted by Monsters and Painted World

Maybe the same dream still.
I arrive home from work, I have traveled long and no one is home. I am at the home of my parents. It is night so I make ready to sleep. The house feels empty and deserted, as if all the family has gone away for some reason. Yet, when I go to my bedroom, I see behind the window, standing outside on the porch where the front door is, a large puffin. It is so large that I almost mistake it for a penguin. This is a spirit. I know it immediately, but the bird is hiding, because it wears a white towel all over its body. And I have to turn back to my room and look again to see what it actually is. I was on my way to the bathroom. I also see there is snow on the porch.
Inside, when I go back to the living room area, I suddenly see a black cat with bright yellow eyes running swiftly, and rather big, in the dark. And I immediately recognize that one as a spirit too. And then things become a little creepy, because I sense and see many ghosts in the house, and I am all alone and by myself. This sensation is the kind that makes you want to wake up and once you wake up not be able to sleep again, but it was so soft and gently and I was determined enough that I had no trouble with the presences.
At some point, my brother D comes to me and teases me. This is very creepy, because he does it as a ghost, in the veranda and in the kitchen. In the dream I cannot catch my sleep, though I know I should have gone to bed a long time already, and in the kitchen I see the time, it is about 1.25 in the morning. And that is when I decide to go to bed. N is also there and something about a beetle.
Now the house is filled with weird beings and monsters, they look very weird. Some just stand their and watch. (I did not take notes of how they looked, though in the dream it was very clear). At that point my parents also come home, one monster is following me everywhere. Something about a Rhino, or the word Rhino. (Maybe this is related to dream 2).
Later something about a film or making a film.
Later we walk the length of the street of our parents, B-street, to the beginning and something about a deserted house (I suppose this is where dream 1&2 come in). The spirits follow me, (can't read notes). Want me? Something something. This house has always been there, but now it is deserted, empty, grey. We go in anyway. Something about other people.
Inside is more light, a witch is in the house, I can't remember when or where we met her. She is in the corner of a large room. I am not scared of her at all, but she creates a painting on the floor which is 3D. Many colours, bright colours, wonderful sight.
Then I go into this painted world, and it is like a parallel world, only you keep contact with the room at all times. The world goes over me like waves, especially green. This is like a sea, but very different. N is with me and goes in as well. I want to test the reality of this world, and have a knife in my hand and intend to cut the leg of my brother, because he wears his swimming suit his leg is naked. My theory in the dream is that he should not bleed because according to the laws of this world no colour can be added and there is no red, only blue and green. So I go behind N and cut his thigh which must hurt, though I can't know whether he will feel pain or not, but the cut becomes red, so he bleeds anyway. The colours are real.


4.Special Children

I am home alone. 
Then my mother is there and she tells me she plans to go to China for a year. With this she means I have to watch the house. This results in me being alone in the house, and I am not looking forward to it.
Obviously my father will go with her. My brothers are also present. But there are also children. First they are adolescents, I have to take care of them along with the house, about three guys, and I look forward doing things with them. Then one of them, the only one I give attention, appears to be only twelve years old. The man looks like a customer that was in the shop recently. When I look around me now I see that the others have become younger as well. I think it is still okay, because twelve year olds are still easy to deal with.
Then I go to the kitchen, but the children have become really young now, like seven or eight, and I don't like that, because I don't want to take of small children at this point.
All of these children are gifted or talented in a special way. I can sense and see it, but none of them performs, maybe because they never learned. Anyway, I recognize they are special children, and I feel my responsibility increases with that, but it also makes me proud that someone thought that I am the right person to educate these children.

5. Nail Clipping

Same dream.
In the middle of the night I wake up and I go to the dining room, sit down on a chair and start clipping my toe nails, of my left foot only. I am very careful, because it seems one of the nails is become loose and might fall off, I don't want that, so I ignore it and clip it carefully, but it happens two or three times, always the same nail, but I can't remember which one, maybe thumb, or either the one next to that. There is another nail which is wrong in a way, because the nail is fragmented, splintered, and it is difficult to clip.


Jusm is there and me, somewhere, and we watch a film. There is a character with a name that sounds like the combination of Magdala and Nanna (can't read notes). A girl is about, but although I touch her a few times to see if she likes me, because she is beautiful, she goes to Jusm all the time. This happens twice. Jusm and me are on an edge, there is some party going on, but we just stand there, because we don't know what to do. This girl, dressed in some purple, long brown hair, healthy, in a pony tail, passes and talks to us, she directs her attention to Jusm, I try to get her attention too, she is sensual in a way. Jusm does not see any of this.
Two times are different, and I know I am still in the same dream.
Later, in a different place in the house, a man is playing with matchbox cars, we join, a woman is there. Lots of cars. I don't see the meaning of it.

6. Wrapping Herbs

Last dream.
I am helping at the till, unfamiliar surroundings, half outside. Women at the counter, I happen to be there and decide to help. Two tills.
The second customer is difficult. She has lots of things, all tiny, about seven or nine. At the same time another customer is there and has only two things, somewhat bigger. I work on the right till, the woman who was there already on the left. I just finished my first customer and now I can take on the next, which is the one with many thing, but the woman is also ready so there is some confusion among the three of us who will do the customer, but I take it and the woman on my left is relieved, because she knew it would be trouble, but I can take it. All customers are also women.
I ask the customer whether these things need to be wrapped with gift wrap, and she says yes, and I ask if all must be wrapped separately and she explains how things should be wrapped, so I start with that. And I sort the things. The things look like trinkets. Two are bigger, but still small, like a fourth of the palm of my hand, and the others are smaller, like one section of a finger.
When I start wrapping the first, I take one of the big trinkets and something else, but the something else changes into a herb, like parsley, and it becomes very difficult to wrap. I have very ordinary paper, and I try but I have difficulties. I have also trouble with the tape and taping it, so I leave it aside, when I am finished, but it is not well done. Then I turn to the next, but by now all trinkets have changed into herbs, and it is very difficult to pack. I take a bunch which was next. Postelein, she explains. Rose Moss. I try to be very gentle, but I can't get it wrapped and it becomes complicated. Maybe Rue. I try to finish that second package, but it does not work, and now the first one comes loose. I don't know what to do.

1. Girl

Girl, lucid dream or moment, erotically charged moment, blond, middle of a room, I stand close to her, she wears a white top. Can't remember the rest.

2. Iron Stairs

Shop is being refurbished. There are a lot more floors now. The interior is a combination of the house of my parents and the shop itself, but multiplied as if a five story building. Really big and robust, concrete. Left side is private, the right side is public.
Frre is there and working, main character in the dream. I am lost in the building, because I have not been here since it all changed.
I'm helping out, which means I am in my free time. And rearranging the cadeauboxes, and I have a set of large iron keys with me. Also something about Suske and Wiske, comic books and characters, played a long role in the dream.
Somewhere in the building is a steep downward metal stairs, red on the sides to caution. This leads from the private quarters to the public quarters.

Also something about a faraway island, trees, secrets.

3. Early and Late for Dinner

Home. Food, eating. Mom and dad. Chwe and I are first in the kitchen. Mom is still ironing in the dining room, dad is in the living room, which is where we came from. We go to the kitchen and sit down, but I don't feel comfortable being the first one to sit at the table, and we still have a few minutes. I rather arrive with everyone else, or with the same timing as my parents.
Because it unnerves me I stand up again and decide to go to the toilet, although I know this will take me too long and I will be late. I go to the private quarters, which is on the right, and somewhere that is not there in real life. I find the bathroom and go to the toilet, shit.
In the bathroom, which is like the one at home, I see there is still Dore's name on the radiator which I put there in pencil, like some graffiti. It is in the corner and does not stand out. I am reluctant to erase it, but I don't want anybody else to see this. Only, now that I see it, I am sure that my mom has already noticed it. I have been away from home for some time.
When I am finished I get up and there is writing on the door, some of the door is damaged, but I make out numbers, in clusters of threes or fours, and it is mostly the number three repeated, like this 333. When I take a better look, I see another door to compare it with, and Chwe comes too and helps me out with this. And I see this is a code of a loyalty card, made up of 4 times 4 numbers. This number and the card are made automatically. This has something to do with going to the bathroom, but I know I have a card, so I will have to take care that it will be registered on my existing card, which I don't have on me.

4. Kiekeboe

Something about comic books, in particular Kiekeboe.

I am in front of the hairdresser's, called Yes, dark, and I hesitate to go in, because when I look inside I see that all those who enter are asked to do a dance. There is some competition going on, customers must do this. I was not aware of it, though I happen to be there on this day. So I don't go in, I have no intention of doing this.
