Dream interpretation

This is a dream journal. The intention behind it is to also give interpretations on the recorded dreams. In my experience, much of the dream content is prophetic and can be linked to events following the night of dreaming.
Throughout the year 2013 I will keep to the discipline of recording my dreams every morning and interpreting them every evening. That way, people may start to get a feel of how dream symbolism works.

Playground Bedroom

1. Wet Dream

Wet dream. Can't remember the circumstances, was soft and gentle. Maybe not even a dream. Early in the night.

2. Funeral of Bale

Bale is dead. We are at the funeral, her family is there. I go first, then her grandmothers. (Something else I can't read).

3. Reading

Reading.

4. Talk on the Mind

I explain what altered consciousness is and talk about the superficial mind. I'm looking for a better word than superficial, because people might take offense. This is during a get together, in a room, students. Closed. I'm not the speaker, but I feel I have to give this explanation.

5. Taiji and Work

Taiji. Kr of work is there. Nobody listens. (Am I teaching?).
Holiday of Tama. (Something I can't read).

6. Notes

Work. (Something I can't read).
Notes to colleagues, something about me and something else (can't read?).

7. Giant Names

Something about the names of giants. I understand them all. Maybe this is part of dream 4. The last one I don't understand, although I am sure I should know the name. Then I try anyway and I say: Geirrod, and it is correct. I did not look sure while I was saying it, but the lady who was the instructor was happy.

8. Dancing on the Playground

One of the early dreams. We arrive at a playground. D is with us. We enter via the gate, people are already there. All playful but waiting at the same time. No one dares to take initiative. No one is in the middle, everyone is on the sides, so the square or playground is empty and open. There is a second playground further on the left. All surrounded by buildings. We were summoned here, I don't know for what.
I don't want to be like the others and I start dancing on my own, looking at my brother D, to see if he supports my initiative. There are small balls in different colours rolling about. I play fool a long time, but nobody joins, I don't care what people think.

9. College Tourist

Maybe the same place. Now our mother is here too, but in fact the whole family. We are under a roof first. This is where the entrance is, but these are rooms already and you can stay here. Two adjacent rooms, and a playground behind them. We are tourists here, it is getting late, and no one is here but us. We want to make use of the accommodation. The rooms are rather empty, and they have glass walls so you can just look through them. When you're in them it feels like you are on display. We make ready to go to bed.
I go a little further and find another room, here's the bathroom, and possibly bedrooms, as I might decide to sleep here. I think I have to give some talk here. There is some purpose. This room too is empty, and I prepare to brush my teeth. This is when I see students arrive. At this late hour, as if for them it is another hour of the day. They keep coming, I suppose they are going to the classrooms, they go in other rooms and doors than where I am, but it is in the same corner of the building.
There is at least one student I bump in to, and I don't know how to respond. Am I allowed here? Can I still sleep here? Or will people barge in all the time?

  1. Dreams not in chronological order.

    Residue.
Dream 4. I wrote a short introduction to the meditation and sent this to Racr yesterday.
Dream 7. Finished reading an article on giant names a few days ago and asked Bale to get me the other one, she mailed back in the weekend she will.

I don't know the literal meaning of the dreams, cannot connect them to events of today, although about three things happened which I would expect to show in a dream. 1. Ozzy girl. 2. Anpi. 3. Mith.

  2. Evidently, some of those dreams were inspired by reading Anathem.
