Dream interpretation

This is a dream journal. The intention behind it is to also give interpretations on the recorded dreams. In my experience, much of the dream content is prophetic and can be linked to events following the night of dreaming.
Throughout the year 2013 I will keep to the discipline of recording my dreams every morning and interpreting them every evening. That way, people may start to get a feel of how dream symbolism works.

1. Initiation in the Northern Tradition

We were all in a hall, one corner of it, really. This part was higher than the rest of the room. Bunched together, a jolly lot. Listening to Fras, who was there. Then, she was going to give or demonstrate an initiation. Someone volunteered, I didn't like him, but watched anyway. Fras told him to open his hands. Palms facing up, but cupped together, so they touch. I had to correct him. Gebo and Sowulo were used (see other dream, what's written there belongs here).
The rite is quite short and really looks like reiki, only more simple. I and someone else receive as well. Room is dark. Sometimes a more lucid moment, this is when the symbols appear, or the hands are focused.

    Interpretation.
    Since I had this dream yesterday, this must be about the sudden popularity of the facebook page I made for the rune course. I told Fras in the beginning of the week, but had no time to look at it. But it seems it has some effect. The person initiated must be the guy that posted the most on the page and now also asked to take the course. I have never met him. So, facebook is symbolized by the hall, one page by the corner.

    Interpretation.
    Maybe this is the ordination given by Fras to Gemi at the get together 5 January.
