1. Don't Interrupt the Customer
Last dream of the night and only one I was aware of.
In the shop, behind the counter, dark, I'm in a hurry. I have some dispute with Keva, because he wants to take money from the till to buy cd's with. I won't allow it.
He already has some cd's with him. My cd's are among them, for example the blue red one of Kataclysm, which is death metal.
There is a lady customer who buys something and she pays with card, while at the same time Keva wants her money (can't read note well), point is that he disturbs the transaction and this is difficult for me to keep him of and attend to the customer, while the till is open and free for Keva to take what he wants.
But I don't want to and cannot split my attention. So a discussion starts between Keva and me and the customer is in between, which is what I wanted to avoid.
Brva is there. She has something something and is the only one who must have lunch break (maybe this is me), and Brva is the one who is going to stand in.
When she comes behind the counter and I am ready to leave I am still there a moment and spend some time with her, just a minute or two, stroking her back with my hand, right hand, am on the left.
List is also there, she comes with a new edition of Ruby Red, this is a package, sealed with plastic, and has a marker in it and something else, maybe a dvd or a notebook, and the book cover is yellow not red.
Earlier something about Christmas fair in Leuven, and also being in London, maybe drizzle.
Other fragment. Taxi, with brother D. I help him, and he is running from something.
I am hungry, it is night, 5pm, and I can go home early, enter the office, inside, outside. I am welcomed by someone who works here and incidentally goes out, that is why he opens the door when I enter.
And outside, or when I want to get back outside I go through the window or glass door, which is barred, but I jump over the bar.
The thing is that I don't work here and I don't have a pass, id, or badge. So, how do I get in if I have to be inside? I go in when another person leaves. And how do I get out? Rather in an anarchistic way. Yet when I was inside there was nothing for me to do.
Other fragment was about the etymology of Aegir and Aegaean sea, which both go back to an Indo European root *egwe.
Residue.
ReplyDeleteDream 1. The cd is a residue of Sunday when Istu showed me a cd, and I was reminded of this one, though it was nothing like it.
Interpretation.
Dream 1. First part more or less happened for real in the shop, when a customer came and both Digr and List were yelling at me from different parts of the shop to ask me something. I don't like that, the customer was at the till and wanted to be helped.
The new edition of Ruby Red carried by List might be the bad news List brought about her sister.
The fragment with Brva might be my talk about new year with this lady customer that bought a calendar. About which Digr afterwards made a comment.
Second part, I was still hungry, that was what the dream was about? Second part might be how I spent my time home. I only rested, and now I record my dreams and write what I think about them.
