The Clarity of Water

(Dream, Friday, 20 July)

1. Through the Narrow Hole

Need to cross a road, after a long stretch of walking uphill beside a road. Shall I go straight through? Which looks difficult. Or shall I use a detour on the left? Which is longer but easier.

Straight through looks very narrow. Smaller than I remember, and dirty. Like a ridge in a wood on a mountain, with a river on the side, deep deep down. There will be water when I go through it, almost like going through a hole. Because there is a river behind that point. I can't see it well from up here, because of the bridge, sturdy. (The place looks very much like a place I know in the real world, in Herent, bridge over the Omleiding, street is called Onzelievevrouwstraat.)

So I go straight through and I think that is the right choice, but the dream ends there.

2. Arrival at a Clear Lake

(Next dream)

I am with two other people. A boy and a girl, my age (I am thinking of Kula and Lesi). Together we arrive at a body of water, which looks clear, much clearer than I had expected, and much more vast as well (the way I picture the Well of Wyrd), because I know this water. This is on a plateau, high up, and it feels like it is the same location as the previous dream, but not south north but west east and on a bit further on the right.

I am happy the water is clear. It means there will be less trouble. Not sure whether I will enter it, or dive.

3. Fish Burger with Mussels

I dreamed about food, toast, fishburgers in a sandwich. Sauce with it. There is still room for more, so I put a mussel next to the burger. Someone copies me. Fried mussel. I don't see any faces, all is close by, possibly inside. Lots of white, maybe light.

4. My Sunday Invitation

More about food.

Everyone was there. The people I had invited for Sunday, that is Bale, Ande and Elbe (in reality last yesterday). Ande was being difficult, Bale was being helpful. Didn't see much of Elbe. Inside, my home, especially my kitchen. This is a place I have been before. I have dreamed about before. There is a stairs behind on the left to another part of my home, possibly my study.

Dark inside. I am preparing the food. It is a bit difficult, because there is no space. There is lots of room, but all the dishes are still there and other stuff, so I have to clean up first. While at the same time cooking. Getting a bit angry about it, because no-one helps me. Didn't have time before to clean up.

5. Tour de France

(HYPNOPOMPIC)

Cyclists, professionals. Tour de France. Road still empty, but many people cheering already. Road is nice and clean. Then, someone on the street, broad street, has put up fences so the cyclists can't pass. Then they come and they have to jump over it. The first two do this. Then, the man puts away the fences.

He did it to cause accidents. Thought the better of it after that.
