1. Ducks on a Screen
One lucid moment I remember. I am inside a building, which is a classroom, my mother is there and working hard, and I am assigned a certain task I don't know the purpose of, but I do it. I get no help, am alone. On different computer screens I have to count the ducklings that pass. Black background. Ducks are of course yellow, but they are like chicks, or even toys, the one you get on a fair. In the beginning all is easy, because these ducklings pass one by one, or in groups of twos or threes. I keep track. Then later, everything speeds up, but I manage to still keep count. Then, at a certain moment, my mother comes to stand next to me and asks me how many I count. And I say, they come in strings of between fifty and a hundred. Which is right and she is satisfied. I could still keep count, mind you. But the screen was flooded with ducks as it were.
More was about this dream that was out of doors, but I remember too little.
I did not bother to get up this morning to write down this dream, but kept on remembering this one piece. And I only write this now, in the evening, but while writing it, I realize what it means.

The dream relates to the business of preparing for our open days at the shop. My mother is of course the boss, who is a male. He only checks at the end, when he himself has time. The ducklings are customers, which is only a few during the day, but many at one certain moment, when we had a small event. And just at that moment, there was no one around to help me. String of ducks was a queue of customers.
